Questions

Is anything actually painted on the footpath?: No. Never. The blocks exist only on the photograph on this site and in the posts we publish. Physical advertising on a public footpath would need a licensed agency, a public auction and written landowner consent — we do none of that and never will.
What am I buying, then?: Placement in the story of a repair: your name on the photo that travels, on the patch page, and on your own sponsor page.
What if someone takes my block?: Block availability and placement terms are shown before checkout. We will publish clearer takeover rules before enabling that feature.
Who gets the money?: Sponsorship supports Patchwork's repair activity and operations. More detailed reporting will be published as the programme develops.
Can any brand sponsor?: No. Gambling, adult, unregistered financial products, crypto tokens with no product, and political parties are refused. We can also refuse a logo after payment and refund it in full.
