One bad mark on a civic-good site undoes the whole thing. So we are picky, and we say so up front.

We refuse

• Gambling and betting

  Including fantasy sports platforms that take stakes.

• Adult content

  Any sexual services or adult media.

• Unregistered financial products

  Lending, investment or insurance offers without the relevant registration.

• Crypto tokens with no product

  Token launches, memecoins and exchanges whose offer is speculation.

• Political parties and campaigns

  This is civic work and it stays unaffiliated.

We can remove a mark after payment

If a mark turns out to be misleading, offensive, or from a refused category, we take it down and refund the sponsor in full. This is written into our terms so nobody is surprised by it.

Sponsors never direct the work

A sponsorship buys placement in the story of a repair that has already happened. It buys no say over which repairs we verify, publish or fund.
