What you are buying
A sponsorship block is a digital placement: your name and mark appear on the photograph of a repair on this website and in the social content we publish about it. You are not buying space on a footpath, a road, a wall or any other physical surface, and you acquire no interest in any public land.
Nothing is applied to the footpath
We do not paint, print, stencil, affix or install any branding on any repaired surface, and we will not do so on request. Physical advertising on a public right of way requires a licensed agency, a public auction process and written landowner consent under the applicable municipal advertisement bye-laws. We do not hold those permissions and do not operate on that basis.
Takeover and refunds
Any block may be taken over by another sponsor paying twice the last sale price. When that happens you are notified, your mark is removed, and you are refunded the full amount you originally paid, to your original payment method. You lose nothing but the placement. Takeovers above $10,000 require our manual approval.
We can refuse your mark
We may refuse or remove any sponsor mark, before or after payment, at our sole discretion, including for the categories listed in our content policy. If we do so after payment, you receive a full refund.
Where the money goes
Funds collected on a patch reimburse the fixer's stated repair cost in full first. Amounts beyond that are split 50% to the fixer, 30% to the Repair Fund and 20% to the platform. The Repair Fund balance and every movement in and out of it are published.
Verification and accuracy
We verify each repair against photo metadata, a receipt and the fixer's original public post, followed by manual review. We publish what we can substantiate; we do not warrant the structural quality or permanence of any repair.
Currency
Blocks are priced and charged in US dollars. Rupee figures shown on the site are converted at a recently fetched rate and are approximate.
