What we need

• 01A photo of the spot before you fixed it
• 02A photo of it finished, taken from roughly the same place
• 03The location, as exact as you can make it
• 04What it cost you, with a photo of the bill or receipt
• 05The date you did the work
• 06A link to the post where you talked about it
• 07A few lines in your own words about what happened

What happens next

We check the photos against their own location and time data, check the bill, check the post, and then a person reviews the whole thing by hand. Nothing is published automatically. Once a patch has been live for seven days with no dispute, you can be paid back — the full repair cost first, before anyone else takes a share.
